National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

NDIS is the National Disability Insurance Scheme – a new way of providing community linking and individualised support for people with permanent and significant disability, their families and carers.

Richmond Fellowship is a registered provider to support people with a primary psychosocial disability.  Provider Registration Number: 79670691.  Please note these supports relate to people 16 years and over.

We are registered in the ACT and NSW to provide the following;

Accommodation/Tenancy assistance

Assistance in coordinating or managing life stages, transitions and supports

Assistance with travel/transport arrangements

Assistance with daily life tasks in a group or shared living arrangement

Assistance to integrate into school or other educational program

Assistance with daily personal activities

Behaviour support

Development of daily living and life skills

Household tasks

Participation in community, social and civic activities

Physical well-being activities

Plan Management

Training for independence in travel and transport

Our Recovery Workers will support you through the process of assessment and planning with the National Disability Insurance Agency process to ensure you receive the supports you require.

If you are a person with a disability and you meet the access requirements you can become a participant in the scheme. As a participant, you will be able to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) community linkages and individualised planning processes to identify the reasonable and necessary supports you need to enable you to achieve your goals.
